2024 Delegate Selection
Our multilayered process to select our presidential nominee, members of the Electoral College, and members of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is underway. It began with the presidential primary on March 5th and continued with the selection of Loudoun’s delegates to the congressional district (CD) and state conventions in May and June. Fewer people filed to run for delegate than we had positions for, so the caucus to elect them has been cancelled. Those who filed will attend the CD and state conventions in order to select the delegates to the Democratic National Convention in August plus the Electoral College and DNC members for Virginia.
