What does the Finance and Fundraising Committee do?
We raise funds for the LCDC to ensure we can meet our financial obligations and support the election of Democrats to public office.
We recruit donors, especially recurring donors, and maintain donor lists.
We assist the Treasurer with budgeting, internal audits, and financial planning and forecasting.

Do I need any special skills to join the F&F Committee?
No, just a willingness to participate in brainstorming ways to raise funds and help organize the resulting events. Of course, if you have pertinent skills from past fundraising efforts, that is always welcome.
Will I have to ask strangers for money?
No, there are multiple ways to serve F&F in the background by coming up with ideas to raise funds, organize events, create flyers to advertise events, etc.
Will I have any fundraising target to meet if I volunteer to help with fundraising?
No. That kind of pressure is reserved for officers!
