LCDC will reorganize, or “Reorg”, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM (registration begins at 11:30 AM) at Trailside Middle School in Ashburn. Every two years, the Loudoun County Democratic Committee (LCDC) is collapsed and reformed, as is every local Democratic committee across the Commonwealth. All Democrats who reside in Loudoun County are invited to join the Committee at this time.

Loudoun County helped Virginia send a message to the country last night by electing or reelecting candidates up and down the ballot.

The ducks in question are four Loudoun Republicans trying to hide their identities by claiming they are Independents or failing to reveal their political affiliation in the upcoming Loudoun County School Board races. And yet, if you pull back the curtain by looking at their finances – they each got $3,500 from the “Loudoun Republican Party” – and listening carefully to the “dog whistles” they employ, their pedigree is clear.

This November, the Algonkian and Sterling districts have the opportunity to re-elect two of Loudoun’s strongest voices for public education – April Chandler and Arben Istrefi, and the Broad Run and Dulles Districts can elect two newcomers to continue the work of their Democratic predecessors – Ross Svenson and Jon Pepper.

Everything is on the line in 2025. If we want to protect reproductive freedom, voting rights restoration, and marriage equality for generations to come – we must enshrine them in Virginia’s Constitution. That means we must defend and expand the majority in the House of Delegates to finish what we started, and give Virginians the power to vote on reproductive freedom in 2026!
